Om deze presentaties voor iedereen toegankelijk te maken hebben we deze presentaties opgenomen in twee podcasts: ‘Sepsis Evolution – where we came from’ & ‘Sepsis-3 – what all the fuss is about’.

Over twee weken verschijnt onze tweede podcast: ‘Sepsis-3 – what all the fuss is about’.

Reacties, opmerkingen, feedback is allemaal welkom! (kan onderaan deze pagina)

Podcast: Sepsis evolution – where we came from

This week we present our first podcast of the podcast series ‘Sepsis’.

Last year we did a deep dive into the sepsis literature with the fanofEM crew. We summarized our findings in three Dutch blogposts on our website – the Sepsis Trilogy. A few weeks ago we also gave two talks on sepsis at the Tenth Dutch North Sea Emergency Medicine Conference. We decided to record these talks for you in two separate podcasts: ‘Sepsis Evolution – where we came from’ and ‘Sepsis-3 – what all the fuss is about’.

In this first podcast of less than 20 minutes, we will take you on a trip through the dynamic world of sepsis. To understand where we are now in the world of sepsis, it is important to know where we came from.

Learn more about the Rivers-study, the 3 big sepsis trials (ProCESS, ARISE and ProMISe), the brand-new meta-analysis PRISM, SIRS and the problems with SIRS.

In two weeks we will publish our second podcast: ‘Sepsis-3 – what all the fuss is about’.

Please feel free to leave any comment or feedback on this podcast! (at the bottom of this page)
